Cerro de la Cruz (Cross Hill) is located in the National Park Altos de Campana. This place offers some of the best views from the Altos de Campana. On a clear day you can see the whole bay of Chame. The whole hike takes about 3 hours by the northen trail. You need to be in good physical condition to climb this hill with the cross.

Como Llegar

The park is located in the Panama province 120 kms driving distance from Panama City, overlooking the Pacific Chame Bay. To reach the park, leave the capital by the Interamerican Highway, pass by cities Arraijan, Chorrera and Capira. After a few miles from Capira the road starts to rise. At the highest point of the climb on the right hand there is the sign of entry (which also leads to the village Chica). Climbing to the hill on the road with many curves you will reach the Park Administration Office (ANAM) which you can see on your left hand. You have to pay $5 entrance fee and you can also ask about the path to Cerro de Cruz.
